QUESTION
I am unable to locate the following congressional hearings. Any help with locating the following would be greatly appreciated.
(1) Foreign Corrupt Practices and Domestic and Foreign Invesment Disclosure, Hearing on S. 305 before the S. Comm. on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, 95th Congress, 1977;
(2) Unlawful Corporate Payment Act of 1977, Hearings before the Subcomm. on Consumer protection and finance of the House Comm. on Interstate and Foreign Commerce, 95th Congress, 1977.
(3) Business Accounting and Foreign Trade Simplification Act: Joint Hearings before the subcomm on Sec. and Subcomm. on Int'l Fin and Monetary Policy of the Senate Comm. on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, 97th Congress 1977.
Answer:
The first two were quickly found using the Title Index of the CIS 1975-1978 Index, but the third one was not there. Looking more closely the reference librarian noticed that if the 95th Congress is 1977, the 97th Congress must not be. Looking in the Index of Titles for the CIS Index 1979-1982 the third was quickly found as well.
